About Me
My name is Adam Hirst, having recently graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne with a BSc degree in Information Systems I am currently living in Newcastle and working for an IT and Web company based in Ashington, Northumberland. My primary role within the company is to deal with all aspects of our web design arm, from design to testing to implementation.
I am an avid fan of all types of music, mainly of the electronic variety especially Drum n Bass, Dubstep, Psychedelic Trance, Minimal Techno, and Reggae. I DJ Drum n Bass on two Technics 1210 turntables and a Vestax PCV275 mixer at select venues and houseparties in the Newcastle and Mid Wales regions
Other interests include Linux and the open source software movement, social media, user interface design, web scripting and observing the beautiful fractal nature of the outside world
